Many of you know that David is hoping to raise funds for an accessible vehicle equipped so that he can drive it. This is an expensive endeavor, but it will be life changing for David. Driving means independence, freedom and personal satisfaction.

The cost for a vehicle equipped for a quadriplegic is about $60,000. You donated more than $4,000 through last year’s August fundraiser. Thank you! This year’s goal is $10,000, but David can’t do it without your help.

You don’t have to run to help this year (but register early if you are running.) You can register for the 2 mile fitness walk, you can make a donation, and you can even set up your own online fundraising page. You have three friends who would donate $10 each to a good cause, right? We thought so. That’s why we’ve made it easy to set up your own online fundraising page to share with family and friends. Just a few small donations made through your page will make a big difference for David. Give it a try! You have nothing to lose, and David has so much to gain.

Thank you!

Join Us For A Special Day Of Giving

Today is Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to giving. Today your gift to David’s campaign will go further toward helping him reach his goals. HelpHOPELive is participating in Giving Tuesday by covering the credit card processing fees (3%) on all gifts made to David’s campaign today.

Give help, give hope. There’s no better time to give. David’s current goal is to be able to drive. A donation in any amount will help David reach his goal of getting behind the wheel of a vehicle modified with hand controls. Please visit www.davidsjourneytorecovery.com/donate.html and give today.

We hope you will join us and be a part of a global celebration of a new tradition of generosity. Your gift will help keep David moving in a positive direction.

Give up your identity for a day. Download David’s customized #GivingTuesday graphic and use it as your Facebook profile picture. www.davidsjourneytorecovery.com/GiveHope.png

Giving Tuesday was founded with the goal of creating a 24-hour day completely dedicated to giving back. Taking a cue from annual shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is held every year on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving and encourages individuals, families, communities and organizations around the world to do whatever they can in service of others.
